Erika Santos continued her strong start to the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference with another double-digit outing.

Santos poured in a team-high 18 points on 14 attacks, two blocks, and two service aces as the Super Spikers pulled off a four-set win over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 25-20, 16-25, 19-25, 25-18, on Thursday, Feb. 5, at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

Despite back-to-back productive performances, Santos said her priority remains sharpening her all-around game.

“Siguro work on pa sa mga weaknesses ko sa ibang aspects,” Santos shared to One Sports“Hindi lang naman sa scoring, siguro sa blocking and floor defense.”

The work never stops

The 26-year-old opposite hitter acknowledged that consistency will be tested as opponents begin adjusting to Cignal’s tendencies.

“May mga adjustments naman,” she said. “Hindi naman magiging madali kasi inaaral din ng kabila. Pabilisan na lang talaga kung ano ‘yung adjustment na kailangan gawin sa isang sitwasyon.”

With attention building around her early performances, Santos stressed that external expectations are not something she dwells on, especially after her PVL on Tour MVP run.

“Honestly, hindi naman ako nakatingin du'n,” she said. “Hindi ko rin binibigyan ng pressure 'yung sarili ko kasi hindi ko naman siya mako-control.”

“Magfo-focus lang ako sa laro ko and kung ano pa ‘yung kailangan i-improve each game and each day,” she added.

Looking ahead, Santos expects another challenge when Cignal faces the Farm Fresh Foxies on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

“Good thing for us, may familiarity,” she said. “Binubuo namin 'yung foundation at 'yung core namin, so ang adjustment na lang is kung paano kami magre-react sa mga sitwasyon.”
