Capital1’s newest additions immediately made their presence in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

While Bella Belen continued to lead the way for the Solar Spikers, Shaya Adorador and Ysa Jimenez provided crucial scoring support in their four-set win over the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, 25-17, 25-16, 15-25, 25-19, at the Playtime FilOil Centre in San Juan.

The balanced help from Adorador and Jimenez proved just as important as the two finished with 14 and 13 markers, respectively.

“Before pa naman kami pumasok sa Capital1, ang goal lang din namin is at least matulungan si Bella—and ito ‘yung resulta,” Jimenez told One Sports. “Madaling manalo kapag lahat talaga nag-co-contribute.”

Total team effort

Adorador echoed the same sentiment, pointing to the team’s growing chemistry as a factor in the win.

Jimenez and Adorador were two of eight signings made by the Solar Spikers during the busy offseason. The others included Rachel Jorvina, Pauline Gaston, Cherry Nunag, France Ronquillo, Ezra Madrigal, and Jasmine Nabor.

Belen, for her part, emphasized that the win underscored the importance of collective effort as Capital1 continues to build toward consistency in the All-Filipino tilt.

“Team effort talaga ang volleyball,” Belen shared to reporters.

Malaking tulong sila sa team, and paunti-unti naming tatrabahuin ‘yung conference na ‘to.”
