After parting ways with 13 players in a major reset, the Galeries Tower Highrisers wasted no time restocking their lineup and announced four new signings on Saturday, January 10.

Joining the Highrisers are Erika Raagas from the Akari Chargers, BLove Barbon from the Petro Gazz Angels, Lycha Ebon from the Nxled Chameleons, and Julia Angeles from the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.

The first wave of additions, two spikers and two liberos, are aimed at addressing both scoring and defensive gaps for a Galeries Tower side coming off another difficult campaign.

Raagas made a quick turnaround, officially exiting Akari and joining Galeries Tower on the same day. The former Ateneo standout is expected to gain heavy minutes with the Highrisers after being limited by injuries during her time with the Chargers.

Ebon, meanwhile, was among the players released during Nxled’s recent overhaul, as the Chameleons prepare to sign reinforcements in the coming days.

Barbon and Angeles both arrive with valuable Finals experience, having been part of last season’s Reinforced Conference finalists with Petro Gazz and ZUS Coffee, respectively.

Their exposure to high-stakes matches adds a layer of maturity to a Galeries Tower squad that has spent its first two PVL seasons anchored near the bottom of the standings.

Galeries Tower, under new head coach Aying Esteban, will look to put on a much better 2026 PVL campaign after struggling over the past few seasons.
