The Cignal Super Spikers bolstered their playmaking depth by signing veteran setter Ivy Perez for the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The Cignal Super Spikers continued to fortify their lineup for the upcoming PVL conference, announcing the signing of veteran setter Ivy Perez on Friday, January 9.
The 30-year-old Perez brings a wealth of league experience to Cignal after carving out a journeyman career in the PVL.
She last suited up for the Galeries Tower Highrisers, and previously had stints with the Nxled Chameleons and the Petro Gazz Angels. Her resume also includes time with the now-defunct Gerflor Defenders and the Army–Black Mamba Lady Troopers.
Perez is expected to help steer the Super Spikers’ offense alongside fellow setters Gel Cayuna and Gyzelle Sy, adding depth and flexibility to Cignal’s playmaking rotation.
As part of her integration into the squad, Perez will join Cignal in its upcoming overseas training camp in Japan, where the team is set to fine-tune its systems and build chemistry ahead of the new conference.
