Imee Hernandez has signed with Strong Group Athletics, becoming the latest addition to the group’s growing list of offseason acquisitions ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Hernandez became available following the disbandment of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers and is now one of eight players who have joined Strong Group Athletics during this PVL break.

The talented middle blocker joins the likes of Remy Palma, Chie Saet, Bia General, Royse Tubino, Renee Penafiel, Karen Verdeflor, and Cess Robles now under the SGA umbrella.

Her eventual PVL destination has yet to be finalized, with Hernandez expected to suit up either for the Farm Fresh Foxies or the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in the upcoming conference.

Injuries limited Hernandez’s stint with Chery Tiggo, but when healthy, the former UST Golden Tigresses standout showed her value as a middle blocker capable of contributing on both ends of the net.

After returning during the PVL on Tour and Invitational, the athletic middle blocker sat out most of the Reinforced Conference as she recovered from injuries.

Hernandez is expected to be back in action come the All-Filipino Conference later this month.
