Choco Mucho parted ways with Royse Tubino, Cherry Nunag, Aduke Ogunsanya, and Bia General as the Flying Titans begin a broader roster reset for the 2026 PVL season.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans have begun a roster reshuffle ahead of the new PVL cycle, parting ways with Aduke Ogunsanya, Bia General, Tubino, and Nunag before the close of 2025.
The first to announce among the four was Ogunsanya, whose stint with Choco Mucho ends after nearly four years.
The 29-year-old middle blocker turned professional with the Flying Titans in 2022 after stepping away from the UAAP, where the pandemic disrupted what would have been the prime years of her collegiate career.
Ogunsanya’s PVL run, however, was repeatedly hampered by injuries as she suffered a torn ACL in her left knee during the 2022 Invitational Conference, sidelining her for an extended period.
After working her way back, the former DLSU standout encountered another setback when she tore the ACL in her right knee during the 2024 All-Filipino Conference.
Also exiting the team is General, who spent nearly two seasons with the Flying Titans.
The 30-year-old was acquired at the start of the 2024 season from Cignal HD Spikers, hoping to provide depth behind primary libero Thang Ponce.
Meanwhile, Tubino leaves as one of the more familiar faces to Choco Mucho supporters, having carved out a role as a reliable spark off the bench across multiple conferences.
Nunag, for her part, had been part of the team’s starting group, offering steady scoring and presence at the net, particularly during the stretch when Maddie Madayag was playing overseas in Japan.
The series of departures points to what appears to be a timely reset for the Flying Titans.
After showing early promise in their PVL run, Choco Mucho has struggled to find consistency in recent seasons, missing the playoffs in three of the last four conferences.
That stretch included two franchise-worst ninth-place finishes, followed by a slide to 10th in the 2025 PVL On Tour.
