The PLDT High Speed Hitters turn back the red-hot Cignal Super Spikers to secure the last PVL Reinforced semifinal berth.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters are one step closer to their third straight PVL title after eliminating the Cignal Super Spikers in four sets, 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference quarterfinals on Monday, November 24, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Coming off a loss in their final preliminary outing, the High Speed Hitters made sure to kick things up a notch in the knockout round behind Savi Davison and import Anastasiia Bavykina.
PLDT also had a much better showing from Kianna Dy, Mika Reyes, and Majoy Baron.
This is also a revenge game of sorts for the High Speed Hitters after their Round 1 defeat to the then import-less Super Spikers, which ended their 15-game winning run.
Davison was hailed the Player of the Game anew with 21 points and 13 excellent receptions.
PLDT will now face ZUS Coffee in the knockout semifinals on Thursday, November 24, still at the Big Dome.
