The Farm Fresh Foxies have secured their spot in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference quarterfinals after fending off the Petro Gazz Angels, 25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 28-26, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan City.
Belgian import Helene Rousseaux led the way with another 30-point outing, finishing with 31 points on 27 attacks, three blocks, and two service aces.
After dropping the third set, the Foxies clinged on to a slim lead throughout the frame built by import Helene Rousseaux and Ces Molina.
But the Angels would eventually tie the game at 23-all after back-to-back points by Brooke Van Sickle and Lindsey Vander Weide.
Farm Fresh and Petro Gazz would head into an extended set, still tied at 26-all. There, Rousseaux fired back-to-back kills to seal the hard-fought victory.
The win improved the Foxies’ record to 5-1, tied for second with the PLDT High Speed Hitters. On the other hand, the Angels dropped to 3-3, still good for 7th in the standings.
Farm Fresh will go for its sixth win against the winless Galeries Tower Highrisers on Saturday, November 15, at the Ynares Center Montalban.
Petro Gazz will also be back on Saturday as they look to get back on track against the Capital1 Solar Spikers.
