The Cignal Super Spikers look to reset and kick off the second round on a stronger note as they face the Akari Chargers in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, November 6, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.

The Super Spikers enter the new phase hoping to bounce back from a tough loss to the Capital1 Solar Spikers, where they fell short in closing out crucial stretches.

Now at a pivotal point in their campaign, Cignal aims to regain rhythm and sharpen its execution against an Akari squad also looking to rebound.

Setter Gel Cayuna has been one of the team’s most consistent performers so far, ranking second among all setters with 5.94 excellent sets per frame.

Her steady playmaking will be vital as Cignal continues to integrate new import Katrin Trebichavska into its system.

The Super Spikers will also rely on the firepower of Erika Santos, Vanie Gandler, and Ishie Lalongisip as they push to stabilize their campaign and climb in the standings.

With both teams seeking a strong start to the second round, Cignal looks to spark a much-needed turnaround to make the quarterfinals.

The Cignal–Akari matchup headlines Thursday’s double-header at 6:30 p.m.
