The Chery Tiggo EV Crossovers register their first of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference, with Pauline Gaston emerging as player of the game with 10 points, including two blocks against the Galeries Tower Highrisers.
Chery Tiggo only needed to overcome a third-set Galeries Tower resistance for a 25-9, 25-16, 25-23 win in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Arena on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The Crossovers thus carved out their first win after a frustrating 0-3 start to the season-ending conference.
Yunieska Batista finished with 20 points, but it was Pauline Gaston who emerged as the as the standout player with 10 points on eight attacks to go with two blocks.
Meanwhile, The Highrisers remain as the only winless team in Pool B with a 0-4 record.
Chery will try to sustain its fine play when it faces Creamline next on Oct. 28 at the same venue.
Match starts at 6:30pm.
