The Capital1 Solar Spikers get their first win in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after repelling the Nxled Chameleons in four sets.
The Capital1 Solar Spikers are finally on the board in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after holding off the Nxled Chameleons in four sets, 25-20, 23-25, 27-25, 25-12, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Thursday, October 16.
The victory marked rookie Bella Belen and head coach Jorge De Brito’s first win with the Solar Spikers for a 1-1 record, while sending the Chameleons at 0-2 in Pool A.
Belen finished with 15 points, while Ukrainian import Sasha Bytsenko led the way with a conference-high 39 big points built on 35 attacks, three blocks, and one service ace.
Capital1 will look to go back-to-back when they challenge the Farm Fresh Foxies. Meanwhile, Nxled continues to hunt for its first win against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
Both games are set for next Tuesday, October 21, still at the Big Dome.
