The ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles secured their first official victory in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after stopping the Chery Tiggo EV Crossovers in four sets, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, at the City of Dasmariñas Arena on Saturday, October 11.

With their initial five-set victory against the Akari Chargers set to be replayed, the Thunderbelles still got their opening victory, now with American import Anna DeBeer on the taraflex this time around.

DeBeer impressed in her debut match with 37 big points on 35 attacks, a block, and an ace, nearly tying the conference-high set by Farm Fresh import Helene Rousseaux with 38 markers.

ZUS Coffee will go for back-to-back wins against the Galeries Tower Highrisers, while Chery Tiggo EV looks to get back on track against the Akari Chargers.

Both games will be on Tuesday, October 14, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
