From one Solar Spiker of the past to to today’s bright hope, Marina Tushova has thrown her support behind Oleksandra Bytsenko as Capital1 gears up for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Former Capital1 import Irina Tushova voiced her support for current Solar Spikers reinforcement Oleksandra Bytsenko ahead of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
“Our team is in good hands. My heart is with Capital1. I’m looking forward to cheering for my babies,” Tushova wrote in an Instagram Story.
The 27-year-old hitter was the last import to play for Capital before Bytsenko in the 2024 import-laden conference, quickly becoming a fan favorite with her scoring prowess.
She set the PVL’s all-time single-game scoring record three times in her tournament debut, firing 45 points against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans on Aug. 1 before unloading 49 markers against the Nxled Chameleons nine days later.
Not to be outdone, Tushova fired 50-points in a five-set quarterfinal loss to the Cignal HD Spikers that ended Capital1’s campaign in the tournament.
Just last May, the Russian super scorer tied the knot with longtime partner Luis Ma. Fuentes.
