The Choco Mucho Flying Titans finally enters the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference nearly at full strength, with Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, and Dindin Santiago-Manabat expected back in action after recovering from injuries.

Head coach Dante Alinsunurin confirmed the developments during the league press conference, expressing relief that his team will finally have a more complete roster.

“Sobrang happy kami kasi sa ngayon, naging kumpleto lang kami. Sa ngayon, si Sisi na lang talaga yung nakapag-practice sa amin dahil sa national team,” Alinsunurin told One Sports. “And [regarding] Kat and Dindin, nakakapag-training na sa’min. Sigurado pagdating this conference, makakalaro na sila.”

Alinsunurin added that Madayag will also make her Choco Mucho return after the Japan stint and Alas Pilipinas duties.

“Yes, sabi dun sa national team kasi pwede na silang maglaro. Wala lang akong idea kung may next pa sa sitwasyon nila, kung kailan sila mag-resume sa national team.”

Long injury wait

Tolentino is making her comeback after undergoing emergency surgery earlier in the year due to a ruptured appendix, compounded by balance issues from an auditory condition.

Madayag, long hampered by knee problems in the past, has been cleared to rejoin training and adds much-needed stability at the middle position.

Meanwhile, Santiago-Manabat, who has battled through multiple setbacks in recent seasons, is expected to reinforce Choco Mucho's offense with her scoring punch and veteran presence.

Early preparations

The Flying Titans are hoping their now-healthy roster will give them a strong shot at redemption this conference, especially with an early start to their preparations.

“Inagahan namin 'yung start ng training namin kasi parang naglalaro pa tayo ng On Tour. Siguro, nag-one week pahinga nga lang kami then, nag-start ulit kami ng training. After nun, sumama na sila Kat and Dindin sa training namin.”

The 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference will begin on October 7.
