Yunieska Batista is set to make her mark in the Philippines as she joins the Chery Tiggo Crossovers for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers have added former Cuban national team wing spiker Yunieska Batista as their import for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Bautista is no stranger to top-level volleyball. She formerly suited up for the Cuban national team and competed in major tournaments, including the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship and the 2012 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.
In recent years, she has also taken on Kazakhstan citizenship, further broadening her international experience and eligibility.
Her last club stint was with Turkish team Yesilyurt Spor Kulübü and Kazakhstan’s Berel VKO.
With her impressive resume, Bautista is expected to be one of Chery Tiggo’s focal points in both scoring and leadership.
The 32-year-old spiker will back Ara Galang, Cess Robles, and Jen Nierva, as the Crossovers also expect to have Mylene Paat back in the fold come the Reinforced Conference.
