Jovelyn Gonzaga returns to her roots in Iloilo as she leads ZUS Coffee against Creamline in the PVL on Tour stop at the City of Passi Arena.
Homegrown star Jovelyn Gonzaga makes her much-awaited Iloilo return as the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles collide with powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers in the latest stop of the 2025 PVL on Tour Saturday, July 19, at the City of Passi Arena.
The Ilongga volleyball icon is expected to receive a warm welcome from the local crowd as she leads a resurgent ZUS Coffee squad, hoping to pull off an upset against the league’s most decorated franchise.
Gonzaga will team up with fellow veterans Chai Troncoso, Fiola Ceballos, and a promising young core featuring rookies AC Miner and Mycah Go, who are eager to make their mark on the PVL stage.

ZUS Coffee is coming off a mixed outing in the Montalban leg of the PVL on Tour, where they pushed Akari to five sets before suffering a close loss, and then bouncing back with a gritty five-set victory over Capital1.
The Thunderbelles have already pushed the Cool Smashers to the limit in previous encounters, and the Jerry Yee-led squad will aim to feed off the energy of the passionate Iloilo crowd to make a statement in the preseason tilt.
First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
