Galeries Tower has added Marian Andal, Lia Pelaga, and Ivy Perez to its roster ahead of the PVL on Tour, aiming to boost the Highrisers' depth and experience.
The Galeries Tower Highrisers continue to strengthen their roster as they welcome three new players: Marian Andal, Lia Pelaga, and Ivy Perez, on Thursday, June 19.
The Highrisers made the announcement ahead of the PVL on Tour as they continue their push to further improve in the standings after a successful 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
Andal, the NCAA Season 98 Best Libero and VLeague Collegiate Challenge 2023 Best Libero, brings energy and floor coverage to the back row. The Perpetual Help standout is expected to gain plenty of minutes following the departure of star libero Alyssa Eroa.
Pelaga, formerly with the Nxled Chameleons, adds height and blocking prowess to Galeries' frontline.
Meanwhile, Perez brings her veteran presence and playmaking skills, providing much-needed depth in the playmaking department as she joins a setter rotation led by Julia Coronel and Fhen Emnas.
The trio's arrival boosts the Highrisers' roster that already features young guns like Ysa Jimenez, Jewel Encarnacion, France Ronquillo, and rookie Jean Asis.
Galeries Tower is set to see action in the PVL on Tour's single round-robin eliminations, aiming to gain traction and momentum in matches staged across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The Highrisers will open their PVL on Tour campaign on June 28 against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in Batangas City.
