A total of 57 aspiring volleyball pros are officially eligible for the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft, set to take place this Sunday at Novotel Manila Araneta City.

Leading the class is three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen of National University, headlining a deep pool of collegiate standouts, NCAA stars, overseas-trained talent, and Fil-foreign hopefuls all vying for a spot in the country’s premier volleyball league.

Belen is one of five NU Lady Bulldogs who made the final draft list, joined by Erin Pangilinan, Sheena Toring, Pearl An Denura, and Jerrymie Ann Turaray.

Other UAAP standouts who made the final draft list include several key players from powerhouse programs. From De La Salle University, Alleiah Malaluan, Baby Jyne Soreno, Julyana Tolentino, and Jessa Ordiales are set to enter the draft.

Adamson University contributes a strong six-player group featuring May Ann Nuique, Ayesha Juegos, Jules Lopena, Aliah Marce, Kylene Villegas, and May Roque.

Representing Ateneo de Manila University are Alexis Miner and Lyann De Guzman, while Far Eastern University fields Jean Asis, Chenie Tagaod, Ann Monares, and Lyka Bautista.

University of Santo Tomas is represented by Pia Abbu and Renee Penafiel, with University of the East standout Riza Nogales and University of the Philippines’ Nica Celis also making the cut.

Additionally, Angela Jackson, a former UP Integrated School spiker and the youngest prospect in the pool at just 20 years old, is part of this year’s draft class.

Adding to the international depth are two Filipino-American setters with professional and collegiate experience abroad: Alohi Robins-Hardy, a 6-foot-1 playmaker who last played for VK Dukla Liberec, and Tia Andaya from Central Washington University. Both are expected to draw strong interest from PVL teams.

The NCAA contingent is equally competitive, led by College of Saint Benilde's Mycah Go, the Season 97 MVP.

Also included in the final draft pool are Shane Carmona, Erika Deloria, and Zenneth Perolino from Enderun College; Ivy Aquino of the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies; Gerlie Trilles from CIT Colleges of Paniqui Foundation; Eika Bucog of Lyceum-Batangas; and 39-year-old Rose Joy Pinuela from Olivarez College.

Four Fil-Canadians have also made the cut: Yveian Orpiano (Concordia University of Edmonton), Reinali Calisin (Lawrence Technological University), Clara Serrano (Olds College), and Divine Cortez (University of Saskatchewan), all hoping to follow the success of Fil-foreign players like PLDT’s Savi Davison and Creamline’s Aleiah Torres.

Meanwhile, three applicants—Nenita Padua (Arellano), Fil-Canadian Mary Ann Rioflorido, and Ezriah Martinez (University of the Cordilleras)—were deemed ineligible for the draft after failing to complete the necessary documentation before the deadline.

Capital1, which secured the top spot in the draft lottery earlier this month, holds the first overall pick in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft. Galeries Tower will select second, followed by Farm Fresh at third and NXLED at fourth.

Completing the first-round order are ZUS Coffee, Cignal, Choco Mucho, Chery Tiggo, PLDT, Akari, Petro Gazz, and Creamline, respectively.
