Maika Ortiz has joined the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, becoming the latest addition to the team's roster overhaul following the signings of Alyssa Eroa, Fiola Ceballos, and Renee Mabilangan.
ZUS Coffee’s off-season build-up continues to gain momentum with the addition of veteran middle blocker Maika Ortiz, who officially signed with the Thunderbelles after parting ways with Choco Mucho.
Ortiz becomes the latest reinforcement for ZUS Coffee, joining newly-acquired talents Alyssa Eroa, Fiola Ceballos, and Renee Mabilangan as the franchise looks to strengthen its core ahead of the next PVL conference.

The former University of Santo Tomas standout brings championship experience, defensive stability, and leadership to the Thunderbelles.
Ortiz had spent the last few seasons anchoring the frontline of Choco Mucho, contributing on both ends of the floor and offering veteran presence in the locker room.
Her move to ZUS Coffee marks a new chapter in her career, signaling the franchise’s intent to blend experience with youth as part of its long-term direction.
Ortiz is expected to lead the squad alongside fellow veterans Ceballos and Jovelyn Gonzaga.
