FEU stalwarts Chenie Tagaod and Jean Asis are set to turn pro, officially declaring for the 2025 PVL Draft scheduled on June 8.

The duo, who were instrumental in the Lady Tamaraws’ return to UAAP Final Four relevance, have decided to forgo their final year of eligibility to take the next big leap in their volleyball careers.

"Yes po, me and Chenie will be participating in the upcoming PVL Draft," Asis confirmed to One Sports.

Tagaod capped her final collegiate season with 122 total points, comprising 106 attacks, nine blocks, and seven service aces during the UAAP Season 87 eliminations.

Known for her fearless scoring and consistent floor defense, she quickly became one of FEU’s most dependable weapons on offense.

Meanwhile, Asis also delivered a stellar campaign as  the 5-foot-10 middle blocker recorded 118 points, built on 90 attacks, 17 blocks, and 11 aces, serving as the Lady Tamaraws’ anchor at the net.

Together, Tagaod and Asis helped FEU achieve back-to-back Final Four appearances. Their leadership and impact were vital in reestablishing the Lady Tamaraws as a competitive force in the league.

With their collegiate chapter now closed, the two now set their sights on the professional stage, joining a loaded 2025 PVL Draft class that is expected to include several standout names from the UAAP and NCAA.
