Promising opposite hitter Jovelyn Fernandez and steady libero Janel Delerio are taking on a new chapter in their PVL careers as they officially join the Nxled Chameleons ahead of the upcoming conferences.

Fernandez, a former Best Opposite Hitter with the FEU Lady Tamaraws in UAAP Season 85, joins the Chameleons as part of the team’s continued rebuilding efforts.

The 5-foot-6 spiker saw limited playing time during her stint with the Cignal HD Spikers but remains one of the league’s intriguing prospects due to her strong offensive potential and high ceiling.

With more opportunities for court time at Nxled, she’s expected to play a more prominent role under Italian coach Ettore Guidetti as they improve on their recent last-place finish in the All-Filipino conference.

Meanwhile, libero Janel Delerio joins Nxled after parting ways with the Farm Fresh Foxies.

Delerio is set to provide the Chameleons with defensive stability and hustle in the floor department. She finished sixth among Best Diggers in the All-Filipino Conference with 3.18 excellent digs per set.

Fernandez and Delerio will join the likes of Chiara Permentilla, Lycha Ebon, Jaila Atienza, Mae Luna-Lumahan, and EJ Laure.

The Chameleons recently parted ways with veterans Ivy Perez and Bang Pineda.
