Bringing stability and heart to the Cool Smashers, Creamline import Erica Staunton was an integral part of the team’s back-to-back championships in the 2024 PVL Reinforced and Invitational Conference, which completed their historic Grand Slam victory.

And as Erica prepares to turn the page to the next chapter of her volleyball career, her legacy will still forever shine brightly in Creamline’s history.

In an emotional Instagram post, the 23-year-old import poured her gratitude to the passionate fans of the extraordinary title team.

“To the Creamline fans…thank you for the incredible love and appreciation you have continuously shown me, this team, and our sport. The outpouring of affection and support has been above and beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined,” she shared, her words reflecting the deep connection she feels.

She also expressed heartfelt thanks to the Creamline management, who took a chance on her despite her relative youth and inexperience.

“To the Creamline management, coaches, and staff…thank you for taking the risk and bringing in a kid fresh out of college. Your dedication to these girls and building a family within this program is what makes this team so special and so successful,” she acknowledged, highlighting the bonds that make the team unique.

Most importantly, Erica conveyed her love for her teammates, who have been her anchor through it all.

“To my teammates…thank you for treating me like one of your own and for always supporting me and believing in me when I needed it. You guys have never failed to make me laugh, and I am so lucky to have people that made saying goodbye so hard,” she said, her voice filled with emotion.

As Erica embarks on her next journey, she leaves a piece of her heart with the team that embraced her in the Philippines.

“Until I see you next, mahal ko kayo,” she said, a beautiful reminder of the bonds forged in love and gratitude.
