"MVPons" is now a reality.

Bernadeth Pons claimed her first MVP award in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference on Wednesday, September 4, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Pons helped steer the Creamline Cool Smashers to their 9th PVL title after lambasting the Akari Chargers in straight sets.

The 27-year-old outside hitter finished with 19 points on 14 attacks and five service aces, leading the Cool Smashers to their first Reinforced crown since 2018. To make the victory even sweeter, "MVPons" means double as the former FEU star was also named PVL Finals MVP.

After the elimination round, Pons finished 12th among the best scorers with 121 attacks, 5th among the best diggers with 100 excellent digs, and second among best receivers with 122 excellent receptions.

The former Far Eastern University standout followed that up with incredible performances in the quarterfinal and semifinal to lead the Cool Smashers to another Finals appearance.

Against the Petro Gazz Angels, Pons had 16 points and 12 excellent receptions. She then finished with a career-high 28 points, 17 excellent digs, and 24 excellent receptions in Creamline’s comeback victory over the Cignal HD Spikers.

Cignal HD Spikers import MJ Perez was named as the Best Import for her stellar performance throughout the conference.

Meanwhile, Brooke Van Sickle of Petro Gazz and Grethcel Soltones of Akari have been recognized as the Best Outside Spikers for their exceptional contributions on the court.

The title of Best Middle Blockers went to PLDT High Speed Hitters' Majoy Baron and Capital1 Solar Spikers' Des Clemente, who have showcased their dominance at the net.

Trisha Tubu was awarded Best Opposite Spiker, while Cignal's Gel Cayuna once again stood out as the Best Setter.

Galeries Tower High Risers' Alyssa Eroa earned her first Best Libero award for her remarkable defensive skills, and ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles' Shar Ancheta took home the Rookie of the Conference.
