Capital1 import Marina Tushova has made history in the Reinforced Conference, becoming the greatest scorer in PVL history with a breathtaking 50-point performance.

Though the Solar Spikers didn’t make it to the semifinals, her remarkable achievements have truly shined.

In a heartfelt Instagram reel, she looked back with warmth and nostalgia, sharing some of her most treasured moments with her team from her time in the Philippines.

Her video beautifully captured the bonds and unforgettable experiences that made her journey so special.

“Forever grateful for my incredible experience in the Philippines! 🇵🇭 A huge thank you to everyone on the Capital 1 team— you all will always hold a special place in my heart. From day one to the very last, I felt welcomed and appreciated. Your kindness means the world to me!” Marina wrote on Instagram.

From a player who once kept her emotions tightly guarded, Marina has discovered a newfound joy in Manila, thanks to her teammates who showed her that happiness can be a powerful part of the game.

“My team [and] coaches [tell] me, 'Marina, relax, enjoy, smile.' But sometimes I'm too mad, like, how is it possible to smile when you work hard? But yes, you [Filipinos] taught me this. You can enjoy yourself and still work hard,” Tushova said to One Sports.

Her journey has transformed from one of emotional restraint to one of vibrant celebration, as she embraced the camaraderie and positivity that her teammates brought into her life.

Yet, her heart remains with the Solar Spikers, and she eagerly anticipates reuniting with them next year.
