She may be known as the Queen of Swag, but Chery Tiggo’s kapitana Aby Maraño has the heart of gold.
Apart from her amiable fan service and inspirational leadership for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, Aby Maraño has started to extend her influence in the volleyball community down to the grassroots.
On her Instagram story, the volleyball veteran showed some snaps as she imparted her wisdom to the young girls of the Marikina Titans Volleyball Community after being invited as their guest speaker.
“Spent a very short but quality time sharing an inspiring story with the Marikina Titans. I hope my story has inspired you to become who you want to be in the future. Mabuhay ang mga Marikeños!” she wrote.
The Marikina Titans Volleyball Club likewise expressed their gratitude to the seasoned volleybelle.
“Thank you, One Sports, and thank you so much, Tyang Aby-potpot Palmares Maraño, for your inspirational message to our young campers,” they posted on their Facebook page.
The volleyball star is committed to mentoring young children, as she recently visited the Alas Pilipinas U18 girls ahead of their international stint in the 22nd Princess Cup U18 Women’s Southeast Asian Volleyball Championship in Thailand to contribute her expertise as a former national team captain.
