The Chery Tiggo Crossovers extend their winstreak to seven after withstanding the Galeries Tower Highrisers' onslaught in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers edged out the Galeries Tower Highrisers in a thrilling five-set battle (26-24, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-9) to secure the last semifinal spot in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Alina Bicar orchestrated the Chery Tiggo offense with 16 excellent sets, earning her Player of the Game honors. Eya Laure led the scoring with a game-high 20 points, while Mylene Paat and Ara Galang chipped in 13 and nine points, respectively.
Despite a valiant effort from France Ronquillo (15 points, 11 receptions) and Andrea Marzan (11 points), Galeries Tower fell short.
The Crossovers extended their winning streak to seven matches and will face off against Choco Mucho, Petro Gazz, and Creamline in the round-robin semifinals starting on April 30th.
