The fiercely competitive Final Four race has reached its conclusion.

After weeks of intense battles for pivotal spots, four contenders emerged from the 12-team field, clinching their places in the round-robin semifinals of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

These are the teams that will now compete in the next round.

Chery Tiggo Crossovers

Tthe Chery Tiggo Crossovers are now riding a seven-game winning surge, the hottest in the league right now.

The Kungfu Reyes-mentored crew has been taking down one contender after another as of late, owing to its balanced roster of experienced veterans and energetic young guns.

The Crossovers were the last team to secure a semis berth, after repulsing the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Thursday and concluding the elimination round with a 9-2 slate.

Creamline Cool Smashers

Despite encountering tough obstacles, the title-retention quest of the Creamline Cool Smashers is still on the right track.

The defending champions have tasted defeat twice in the season-opening conference, a rarity coming from a team that swept the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference.

Still, Alyssa Valdez and the Creamline crew fought hard enough to maintain their position in the playoff frame, even taking down the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in straight sets last Thursday.

But other teams could be smelling blood, after PLDT took down Creamline for the first time.

Petro Gazz Angels

Another team that has also been leaving a trail of victories is the Petro Gazz Angels.

Spearheaded by Filipina-American sensation Brooke Van Sickle, the Angels have made it four wins on the spin, emerging as one of the title favorites in the season-opening conference.

Petro Gazz continues to put into heart the Japanese system of head coach Koji Tsuzurabara, who has turned the team into a discipline-centric unit.

Holding an 8-2 record, the Angels can still pick up more momentum heading into the semis when it manages to dispatch Nxled in the last playdate of the preliminaries.

Choco Mucho Flying Titans

The injury bug may have pestered Choco Mucho since the start of the season-opening conference, but that has never derailed the redemption bid of the Flying Titans so far.

Deanna Wong battled through a persistent knee injury early on, while Kat Tolentino continues to be sidelined after suffering from an auditory condition midway through the tournament. Despite these setbacks, reigning MVP Sisi Rondina has taken charge, leading the Flying Titans into the next round.

Choco Mucho finished the elimination round last Tuesday with a hard-earned five-set victory over the upset-conscious Farm Fresh for a 9-2 record.

The final standings have yet to be finalized as some teams have yet to play their last preliminary game. However, the round-robin semifinals will kick off on Tuesday, April 30.
