Farm Fresh arrested a five-game losing skid after keeping Strong Group Athletics winless via a convincing beatdown, 25-10, 25-15, 25-22, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao on Thursday, April 18.

Caitlin Viray, who only entered midway through the second frame, put up 11 points built on eight attacks, two blocks, and an ace for the Foxies, who hiked their record to 3-7.

SGA, on the other hand, remained winless in 10 matches.

After a runaway first two sets, Farm Fresh found itself trailing in the third frame, 19-20.

But Pia Ildefonso rallied the Foxies as she traded hits with Strong Group's Dolly Verzosa and Mary Joy Onfore to lock the count at 22.

Viray then shattered the deadlock with a kill before Ildefonso put the Foxies at match point. In the final sequence, Viray nailed the finishing blow to seal the deal.

Anj Legacion generated the Farm Fresh offense with 12 excellent sets, helping nine Foxies tally at least a point in the winning cause.

Chinnie Arroyo and Ildefonso made their presence felt with seven and six markers, respectively, while Alyssa Bertolano and Ypril Tapia scored five apiece.

No one from SGA breached double figures.

Souzan Raslan paced the losing side with nine points, Onofre and Verzosa managed seven and six markers, respectively.

Farm Fresh aims to finish its campaign on a high note when it tries to upend the league-leading Choco Mucho on Tuesday, April 23.

SGA, on the other hand, seeks to prevent a winless campaign when it takes on Akari on Saturday, April 27.

Both matches will be held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
