As the perennial team captain to her teams from the DLSU Lady Spikers to the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and now with the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, Aby Maraño is used to carrying a team—literally and figuratively, during their games and their kulitan moments.

But now, things have shifted for our beloved Tyang Aby, as she somehow figured in a situation where she was carried by singer-heartthrob and Baic’s first Filipino ambassador, Ian Veneracion, during the Manila International Auto Show 2024.

While Ian was swooning the crowd while he was covering “Don't Know What to Say” by Ric Segreto, he also made the hearts of the Chery Tiggo family flutter after carrying their volleyball captain on stage.

Talk about perfect timing! The background song couldn’t have synced better with the scene on stage, as Tyang Aby didn't know what to say after her overflowing kilig.

Ian repeated the same act, flipping Aby once again.

“Parang roller coaster, ‘no?,” asked Ian to Tyang jokingly.

Tyang Aby and the whole Chery Tiggo family were surely having a blast at the said event.

“Ginawa lang naman akong papel! Hahaha grabee, first time sa buong buhay ko may nakabuhat sa akin ng ganun. Ginagawa ko lang to sa teammates ko hahaha ganito pala ang feeling sucks ang saya!!! Nadogshow ang Tyang! i-Aby Maraño mo ako Ian Veneracion,” wrote Tyang in her Facebook post.

It was a “Sana All” moment for the Chery Tiggo fans, who happen to feel kilig to Ian as well.

I mean, who doesn’t?

“Swerte ni tyang aby😍😍😍,” commented fan Tej Win.

“Tyang umayos ka ng pila.” added fan Dex Heroic.

Ikaw na talaga ang nagwagi, Tyang Aby!
