Savi Davison pushed the PLDT High Speed Hitters back on winning track after dispatching the Capital1 Solar Spikers in straight sets,  25-13, 25-15, 25-16, in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Arena on Saturday.

Coming off a shock defeat to the Petro Gazz Angels a week ago, the High Speed Hitters vented their ire on the league neophytes to climb to momentary solo fourth place with a 3-1 record.

Davison shouldered the scoring bulk for PLDT with 22 points built on 19 attacks, two blocks and an ace, laced with nine digs.

Fiola Ceballos contributed 10 markers, while Erika Santos and Dell Palomata chipped in six and five points, respectively.

Rhea Dimaculangan fanned out 12 excellent sets, helping the High Speed Hitters dominate the Solar Spikers with a 47-27 attack disparity.

PLDT also showcased its might in the blocking department with an 8-1 differential while netting five aces compared to Capital1's one.

"Happy with the win. Happy na naka-contribute ulit yung mga role players namin," PLDT head coach Rald Ricafort said.

Meanwhile, no Solar Spiker scored in double figures.

Heather Guino-o and Sydney Niegos managed six points apiece as Capital1 slid to 1-3.

PLDT seeks to sustain its winning form when it faces the unbeaten Choco Mucho on March 19, Tuesday, at the same San Juan venue.

Capital1, on the other hand, aims to get back on track when it collides with Galeries Tower on March 16, Saturday, at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex.
