The Creamline Cool Smashers, the PVL All-Filipino Conference champions, added Dij Rodriguez to the roster, joining fellow beach volleyball veteran Bernadeth Pons.

The Creamline Cool Smashers have made Dij Rodriguez an official member of the GV Kada in a social media post made on Friday.
Rodriguez will be suiting up as an outside hitter alongside Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Bernadeth Pons, Alyssa Valdez, and Rosemarie Vargas.
The beach volleyball star will be finding a familiar face in Pons, as Rodriguez has tussled with the Sisi Rondina-Bernadeth Pons pairing multiple times in the outdoor circuit.
"Malaking addition din sa amin kasi medyo veteran na rin, mataas ang nilalaro sa beach volleyball, nakapaglaro sa international [tournaments]. Hopefully maka-adapt sa indoor volleyball sa PVL," coach Sherwin Meneses said of the SEA Games bronze medalist and Beach Pro Tour World Tour Futures Philippine leg silver medalist.
"Bagay siya sa sistema namin," he added during the PVL Media Day.
The Creamline Cool Smashers will start their campaign against the Farm Fresh Foxies on Saturday, February 24, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The 6 p.m. game will air on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
