The Farm Fresh Foxies are serious about cultivating for the future.

The squad on Saturday confirmed they have signed up Adamson Lady Falcons standout Lorene Toring, in addition to their nine-player haul during the offseason.

"Additional height, power, and speed? YESSIR!," the team posted on social media. "Thank you for choosing us! We promise to be by you every step of the way in your recovery and beyond!"

The middle blocker was set to provide a veteran presence in what was supposed to be her last season with the Lady Falcons this UAAP Season 86, but an ACL injury sidelined her "for the foreseeable future."

In Farm Fresh, Toring reunites with fellow Lady Falcons Louie Romero, Rizza Cruz, Trisha Tubu, Kate Santiago, Ckyle Tagsip, and Cae Lazo.

Toring is also the second injured player signed up by Farm Fresh after Jolina Dela Cruz, who is still recovering from her surgery.

The Foxies estimate Dela Cruz could return to action by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Foxies have been drilled with the basics thanks to team consultant Hideo Suzuki--the coach of Kurashiki Ablaze--as well as assistant coach Mikihiro Shimizu.

Their skills will be put to the test this February 24, Saturday, when they take on defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum at 6 p.m.

It will be aired on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
