Creamline Cool Smashers star Michele Gumabao made her way to the province of Apayao in Cagayan Valley to grace the opening of their sports festival, part of the celebration of the province’s 29th founding anniversary.
Gumabao received a warm welcome from the people of Apayao as she participated in an exhibition game along with the selected Apayao volleybelles.
As a guest athlete and a notable figure in Philippine sports, she also gave a speech encouraging the youth to pursue careers that will bring them joy and excitement.
In an Instagram post, Gumabao expressed her gratitude to Apayao for inviting her and providing her with an opportunity to inspire the aspiring volleybelles.
With the upcoming PVL conference set to unfold in February, it will soon be back to Creamline for Gumabao as Cool Smashers are set to defend their All-Filipino title.
