Another Japanese tactician has made his way to the PVL.

Koji Tsuzurabara has officially been named as new Petro Gazz head coach starting the new PVL season, the Angels announced Sunday.

Tsuzurabara’s coaching tenure spans over two decades, having coached in several countries including Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Among his last stints was for Vietnam’s Kinh Bac Bac Ninh under-19 women’s volleyball team.

Now with Petro Gazz, Tsuzurabara will have the task of leading the team to glory once more, with the Angels reeling after finishing sixth in the 2023 PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.

Tsuzurabara will have plenty of star players at his disposal.

The Angels on Saturday announced the signing of Filipino-American spiker Brooke Van Sickle.

She joins other marquee signings for Petro Gazz during the offseason which includes Myla Pablo and Michelle Morente.
