The Cignal HD Spikers have the league record for most podium finishes without a title.

From 2021, the squad in red and white has been a consistent threat, finishing with one silver and four bronze medals since joining the league in 2021.

There is optimism within the organization that they will get over the hump soon and one big factor is the expected growth of rookie Vannie Gandler.

The spiker from the Ateneo Blue Eagles has been a huge part of their success in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference. Gandler even had a game-high 22 points to end the season against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

"I’m just very happy ‘cause I know how tired we are, how much work we’ve put in, and today I really felt the fire from each player, each coach, up to the management so very thankful," Gandler told reporters after Cignal swept Chery Tiggo in the battle for third.

As for her personal assessment, Gandler said she's only begun tapping into her potential.

"Individually I still have so much to learn. It’s my first year here and I’m barely halfway to what I can do. For the team more jelling, I’m new to the team, so it’s stuff we need to work on, communication."

Watch out PVL, this could be the birth of your future MVP.
