While the Philippines is occupied with the FIBA World Cup, the pros of the PVL aren’t exactly having a vacation during their conference break.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans recently secured bronze in the VTV Cup, while others like Aby Maraño are braving through traffic like the rest of us to fulfill obligations.
Still, PVL players have a bit more time at this point of the year to experience life’s finer things. Take for example former Ateneo Blue Eagles teammates Alyssa Valdez and Pauline Gaston, who took part in the Vogue Philippines Anniversary Gala on Wednesday.
It wasn’t only Valdez and Gaston who got reunited in the event, as host and former UAAP courtside reporter Janeena Chan was also present in the local magazine’s party.
Of course, Chan didn’t let the chance slip to take a snap with the pro spikers she used to cover back when they were in the amateur level. And she let her Instagram followers know about it in an IG story.
“V for volleybelles,” Chan wrote on her post.

Fans can only expect these two to come out even stronger in the upcoming season-ending conference of the PVL, which will once again be an All-Filipino affair.
