Coming off a hectic PVL Invitational Conference, Kim Fajardo did her routine once more. This time, however, her activities weren’t limited to feeding goats and videoke singing.

On Wednesday night, the decorated setter went on Instagram and posted a video of her trying to make a traditional Batangas delicacy called bibingkang galapong. She was being guided by an old lady with a very thick and crisp Batangueño accent. Of course, the ingredients were transferred from one container to another using nothing but bare hands. That’s the only way for it to be authentic, perhaps.

“Bibingkang galapong ho are dine sa amen (with extra hand flavor). Please excuse nanay’s voice. Ganiyan ho talaga dine sa probinsya namin. Parang laging may kaaway,” Kim wrote as a caption.

In the clip, the former DLSU Lady Spiker can be seen handling some sort of an old school grinder. Holding it by the handle, she steered it counterclockwise over and over until the rice is liquified and ready to be transformed into a dough.

The end product looked delicious. Of course, Fajardo’s teammates and volleyball friends swung by the post, and gave their reactions. Most of them wrote their comments as if they were speaking like a Batangas native.

“Pwede ga akong makabahagi ng kaunte dyan?” Cignal HD spikers coach Shaq Delos Santos wrote.

Fajardo’s F2 mentor Regine Diego was also impressed.

“Ah ah kasarap ga niyan,” Diego quipped.

Likewise, Cargo Movers captain Aby Maraño wanted a piece of the pie, literally.

“Ako’y papariyan na, saglit la-ang,” said Maraño.

After recharging in the province, and re-aligning with her Batangas roots, Fajardo will once again put in work with the rest of F2 to prepare for the PVL’s third conference, which is set to be another All-Filipino affair
