Players na, actresses pa.
The poster is out for a Philippine film which showcases the Filipinos' love for volleyball and celebrates love.
The film Rookie stars Pat Tingjuy, Aya Fernandez, and Agot Isidro. It will be released during Cinemalaya from August 4 to 13.
"Queer joy, out in the open, in broad daylight," director Samantha Lee posted on Instagram.
Rookie, created by Lee and Natts Jadaone, tells the story of an awkward six-footer teenager who ended up playing volleyball when the Catholic school she transferred to did not have a basketball team.
"Walang basketball dito eh. Ayaw ng mga madre. Nakaka-tomboy raw," Antoinette Jadaone, sister of Natts, quoted on Instagram and added #truestory.
It all changes when she meets the school's star player.
The film will also feature a cameo of Creamline Cool Smashers' Alyssa Valdez, who was written in right at the start.
"Draft 1 pa lang ng script ng Rookie ay may Alyssa Valdez scene na talaga na nakasulat, kaya sobra-sobra ang galak namin nang napaunlakan kami ng nag-iisang Phenom," Natts Jadaone posted on Instagram last April.
"Because what is a volleyball film without THE face of PH volleyball?"
"When I first started doing research for Rookie, watching Alyssa Valdez videos was my gateway to the wonderful world of volleyball. So grateful for this full circle moment today," Lee added.
The film also features cameos of Valdez's teammate Tots Carlos and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' Ara Galang.
