Tots Carlos, at 24, displayed her dominance in the PVL as she picked up the All-Filipino Conference Most Valuable Player Award on Thursday. It was her third overall in the league.

"Actually 'di ako makapaniwala. Speechless ako," she told the media after the championship. "I think 'yung tiwala nila coach [Sherwin Meneses] , sobrang laking bagay for me."

"Malaking factor na alam ni coach na kaya kong gawin 'yung pwesto."

The Pampanga-native is a three-time Best Opposite Spiker for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the PVL and won the MVP plum during the 2019 Open Conference and the 2022 Invitational Conference.

This year, Carlos returned to her collegiate position as an outside spiker, as Michele Gumabao returned for the Cool Smashers.

The power spiker with the bright pink hair became even more productive.

In her first MVP conference, Carlos was the third top scorer with 58 points to her name in the preliminaries. In the 2022 Invitational Conference, she rose to the top of the leaderboard with 82 points.

By the end of the All-Filipino Conference preliminaries, her scoring production was in triple digits at 111 points coming off 96 spikes, 5 blocks, and 10 aces.

That never let up in the semifinals, as Carlos averaged 20.5 points in the semifinals and 17.66 in the three finals matches.

While Carlos has also been consistent as a server, she has also been reliable as Creamline's top receiver this conference with a 38.37% efficiency.

"'Yung team individually ay very competitive, 'di makikita ang konting sign ng pag-give up," she said as Creamline bounced back from a first-set loss to take Game 3 and the title.

"Isa rin sa mga ina-admire ko, 'yung pagiging competitive ng bawat isa. Healthy competition, gusto mong sabayan."
