The Bossing absorbed their second loss in three games on Wednesday.
The Blackwater Bossing are beefing up their roster after a 1-2 start in the PBA Governors’ Cup.
According to a source, Troy Williams will come in as “reserve import” for injured Shawn Glover.
“Reserve import lang muna si Troy Williams 'cause Glover is still recovering from injury,” the source said.
The injury of Glover, who finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds in the 105-86 loss to the San Miguel Beermen on Wednesday, was not disclosed.
Williams is fresh from a tour of duty with the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s T1 League. Undrafted in the NBA in 2016, the 28-year-old cager had some stops at Houston, Memphis, and New York before playing overseas.
Meanwhile, Troy Rosario was also activated on Thursday.
The 6-foot-6 forward sustained a plantar fasciitis injury in November. He has joined the team’s scrimmage this week and is expected to suit up for the Blackwater game on Saturday against the Meralco Bolts.
The game is set at 6:45 PM at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
