PBA fans can now decide which players will make up this year’s All-Star teams. On Wednesday, January 25, the league opened up their online poll from which the public can vote in their favorite cagers. The 24 highest vote-getters will suit up for the festivities, to be held from March 9 to 12 in Passi, Iloilo.

From there, the top two will be named team captains who will draft players from the remaining 22 to form their respective squadssimilar to the NBA All-Star format. A coin flip will determine who gets to pick first.

Arranged in alphabetical order, you can see Calvin Abueva of the Magnolia Hotshots at the very top of the poll. To cast your vote, find your favorite PBA stars on the list, and click the box located on the left side of each player’s name. A check inside the box should appear upon clicking.

Remember, every voter is encouraged to pick 24 players deserving of an all-star citation for this PBA season.

The poll will close on February 15. So, make sure to have your say before the deadline.

Aside from the star-studded game that will result from this new format, a Rookie-Sophomore-Juniors All-Star showdown will also take place. The young guns who’ll participate in the said event will also be determined through fan votes.
