The Angas ng Tondo has his sights on some new kicks.
As the Magnolia Hotshots gear up for the upcoming Governors’ Cup, it seems like their star shooting guard Paul Lee is looking to upgrade his shoe collection.
In a recent Instagram story, it looks like the three-time PBA champion’s imagination was captured by the first signature shoe of Memphis Grizzlies high-flyer Ja Morant also known as the #Ja1 Day One. The big fan that he is, Lee felt compelled to compare it with the other NBA superstar’s debut kicks with Nike.
Following the inquisitive post is the former UE Red Warrior flexing the reverse swoosh, which is a signature design of the brand’s collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott.
Jordans are a staple in any shoe lover’s roster. This Air Jordan 1 with a super hot colorway deserved three fire emojis, according to Lee.
Another pair of retro kicks on his radar is the Nike Air Alpha Force Low. Famously known for being worn by Michael Jordan in 1988, this ultra-clean sneaker is scheduled to return to retailers this 2023.
Catch Paul Lee with all the heat on his feet on his social media pages, or on the hardwood as the Magnolia Hotshots take part in the upcoming Governor's Cup, the final conference of the PBA’s 47th season. But first, let's tune in to the Commissioner's Cup Finals.
