RR Pogoy did some warmups before Game 2 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Finals two days ago. He later told One Sports he is eyeing a Game 3 or 4 return.
There’s a chance RR Pogoy could return as TNT looks to regroup and strike back against San Miguel in Game 3 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Finals Sunday, Jan. 25.
Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

After dropping a lopsided 92-111 decision in Game 2, the Tropang 5G are aiming for a quick recovery in the best-of-seven series now tied at 1–1.
The Tropang 5G showed flashes of fight, cutting a 24-point hole to just 10 early in the fourth behind Rey Nambatac’s timely four-pointer.
But they could not sustain the rally as the Beermen slammed the brakes with a decisive late run.

Nambatac finished with 17 points as he tried to rally TNT together with Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser (15 points), Jordan Heading (14) and Kevin Ferrer (11).
However, the absence of Pogoy in the first two games was palpable, especially on the defensive end and in shot creation during critical stretches.
All signs point to Pogoy possibly making his long-awaited return after nursing a hamstring injury, having been seen joining warmups prior to Game 2.

His comeback could provide TNT with the much-needed edge, spacing and defensive toughness, helping the squad regain rhythm and prevent SMB from dictating the tempo once again.
With the series essentially reset, TNT knows Game 3 could tilt the balance. Whether Pogoy suits up or not, the Tropang 5G will need sharper execution and sustained energy if they are to wrest momentum back from the Beermen.
