Rain or Shine bruiser Beau Belga will continue playing for the Elasto Painters, signing an extension and staying with the same team he's been with since 2011.
Beau Belga will have one more year on goofing around with his younger Rain or Shine teammates, feasting on lechon belly, and gunning for a PBA championship.
This is after the 39-year-old enforcer signed a one-year extension with the Elasto Painters, Belga made the announcement Monday, Jan. 19.

“I manifested and he granted it. Thank you to the boss above for this contract extension,” he wrote on Instagram.
In the same post, the RoS veteran expressed his gratitude to team owners Raymond Yu and Terry Que, team governor Mamerto Mondragon and coach Yeng Guiao.
But he also made special mention of his teammates, with whom his bonding over the past few years has been well-documented on social media.
“Sa mga teammate ko at utilities meron ulit tayo isang taon ng pagsasama, kulitan at saya siyempre. Matic ang Lechon Belly,” he said.
With Gabe Norwood recently retiring from basketball after nearly two decades, Belga remains the only remnant from the Rain or Shine 2016 squad which captured the Commissioner’s Cup title.
After making four of the last five semifinals, Belga is determined to help the Elasto Painters crack the Finals for the first time since then.

Like most sportswriters, Jan Ballesteros once dreamed of becoming a professional hooper. But he learned the hard way that it’s not for everyone.
He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
