No. 7 Meralco banked on a hot start to douse second-seeded Rain or Shine, 96-79, and force a deciding match in their PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup quarterfinal faceoff at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Saturday, Dec. 27.

The Bolts raced to a 35-15 start to cruise to the victory against the twice-to-beat-armed Elasto Painters.

He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
