PBA: Fajardo drops triple-double as SMB beats Dyip, claims playoff incentive

San Miguel blazed to an eighth straight win while giving Terrafirma an unceremonious exit, 135-115, in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Wednesday, Dec. 17. 

The Beermen followed after Rain or Shine, climbing to 8-2 for a share of the top spot for a twice-to-beat edge in the quarterfinals.

June Mar Fajardo churned out 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for a triple-double night in less than 29 minutes on the floor.

While SMB is on a roll, the Dyip concluded their conference on a nine-game slide for a 1-10 tally. 

San Miguel seeks to sustain its hot form against its last foe in the elims, Meralco, at the same venue Friday, Dec. 21.
