Phoenix refuses to fold as it stays in the quarterfinal race in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
Phoenix started strong and made sure to finish even stronger against Blackwater, 106-98, to fan its quarterfinal hopes in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo Saturday, Dec. 6.
After soaring to a 33-21 start, the Fuel Masters had to fend off a Bossing challenge in the fourth before claiming a third win in nine matches.
The playoff door remains open for Phoenix as it shared the ninth spot with Titan Ultra.
Jason Perkins erupted for a conference-high 33 points on a 13-for-20 clip he topped with seven rebounds, two assists and a block to banner the Fuel Masters.
