Calvin Abueva produced a near triple-double to keep the road to the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup quarterfinals open for Titan Ultra.
Titan Ultra rose from an early deficit then delivered a strong finishing kick to keep Terrafirma miserable, 111-108, and keep its own quarterfinal hopes alive in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Saturday, Dec. 6.
Down by double digits in the opening frame, 20-30, the Giant Risers slowly clawed back to level the game and eventually came up with their third win in nine matches for solo ninth.
Calvin Abueva scattered 20 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, four steals and three blocks to power his squad.
Meanwhile, the Dyip reeled to their sixth straight loss for a horrendous 1-7 record at 12th.
Titan Ultra will look to build on this ray of hope as it makes a push for the playoffs.
It will next face Phoenix on Dec. 14 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
