San Miguel tallied its sixth straight win against TNT to advance to the quarterfinals in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
Fired up from his Gilas Pilipinas duties, Cjay Perez caught fire early to fuel San Miguel's 110-95 whipping of TNT in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Friday, Dec. 3.
Perez dropped 16 of his 33 points in the first 24 minutes of action before the rest of the Beermen did their part to secure their sixth straight win in eight matches.
SMB thus joined NLEX, Rain or Shine and Converge on top and in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, the Tropang 5G slipped to 5-3 for a share of the fifth spot with Magnolia.
The Beermen will try to sustain their hot streak and continue their hunt for a Top Four finish as they take on Blackwater next Saturday, Dec. 13 at the same venue.
Match begins at 7:30 p.m.
