Converge sustained its form despite the PBA's lengthy break as it picked up its third straight win against Magnolia, 114-97, for a quarterfinal seat in the Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Friday, Dec. 5.
The FiberXers thus broke free from a four-way tie at third to gain a share of the top spot with idle NLEX and Rain or Shine at 6-2.

The Hotshots, who also crowded the third spot with San Miguel and TNT, slipped to 5-3 at sixth.
Converge will now go for a fourth straight victory to bolster its Top Four hopes — and secure a twice-to-beat bonus — when it collides with the Elasto Painters Sunday, Dec. 7.
Match unfurls at 7:30 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Montalban.
